Swallowtail Shawl
Interweave Knits Fall 2006
Interweave Knits Fall 2006

I'll just have you know, that it is cold outside. I have hardly stuck my snoot out in days!!!! If fact, I am thinking that shawls are the way to keep warm in a house that is approximately 65 degrees. I wrap myself up in my Koigu shawl, constantly. I keep it wrapped

On another note.... I have sold 2, count 'em, 2 tams. Well... it's not a done deal yet, but my good friend at the library has this one and is going to pay me for it on pay day. If not, then I think I'm just gonna let her have it. I have known her FOREVER and I just want her to have it. The other one (dd#1's, can't believe she would have let me sold it right off her head), is for another acquaintance. Good grief! She will be ready for hers in January. I guess I had better get knitting away. This means I have to make at least, 2 more tams. Thank you Knit Picks Palette!

I wish I could get somewhere quiet and work on fair isle or stranded knitting uninterrupted. Its my only fiber goal for the year that I haven't had peace and quiet enough to work on (sniff sniff). Love the colors that you're using.
Beautiful!!! Both of them, I want to hurry up and finish my Holiday knitting so I can knit for ME!!
LOVELY shawls! And too cool about selling those hats - I've finally gotten my yarn, but I don't think I can start it till after the holidays! Too much to do...the photo of your most recent one it great!
(((hugs)))
I can't believe how fast your are. You just started this shawl, geez! I like that pick of your koigu shawl. The lighting is nice. A Tam is on my list too. Good job selling but I can't imagine that.
i have had the yarn and pattern for Swallowtail sitting in a bag since the magazine came out-someday I will knit non-gifts again....
Beautiful shawls! The Koigu is just magnificent. I've attempted the swallowtail a couple of times, but the provisional cast on threw me off (I cannot get that technique down).
Congrats on your tam sales; that's wonderful.
